Adwumawura Programme

The Social Entrepreneurship Hub Ghana (SE-Hub), in partnership with A Rocha Ghana (BESNet) and supported by IUCN Ghana and the EPA, held a workshop in Sekondi-Takoradi to promote sustainable business practices and environmental compliance among local enterprises.

Project Overview

The Social Entrepreneurship Hub is implementing the Adwumawura Programme in partehership with the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme-NEIP.

The Adwumawura Programme aims to provide business development training, access to funding, mentorship, market support, and year-round business advisory services to Ghana’s youth. This initiative will support both new start-ups and existing small businesses.

Through the Adwumawura Programme, the Hub partners with local institutions, traditional authorities, and private sector stakeholders to create an enabling environment for small businesses. The participants are coming from Jomoro, Nzema East, Ellembelle, and Prestea Huni Valley.

Impact Summary

The programme is training over 150 young entrepreneurs to strengthen their business capacity, access finance, and contribute to local economic growth in the Western Region.
