Co-creation and Community

Our Nnoboa Space is a vibrant community where entrepreneurs, creatives, and changemakers come together to share ideas, collaborate, and support each other. Through creative gatherings and peer learning, we are building a culture of innovation and belonging; people meet to brainstorm and share experiences.

Nnoboa
(Makers’ Space)

The Nnoboa Space is a collaborative initiative between SE-Hub and Code for Afrika e.V., aimed at sustainably empowering young entrepreneurs in the TVET sector. This program addresses youth unemployment and textile waste by offering comprehensive training in fashion design, entrepreneurship, and business practices among tailors and creative artists. Participants are taught how to repurpose textile waste into new products, with a strong emphasis on partnering with creative artists to market their products through film and photography.

Trash to Treasure competition (Trash2Treasure)

it is a competition is an innovative initiative that aims to orient basic, junior and senior high school students about the circular economy. They are challenges to work in teams, transforming the waste found on their campuses into valuable products which can be sold. This approach, we believe, will help shape the young child's view about what is waste and how to handle it. The students are also introduced to effectual entrepreneurship, which allows them to appreciate the need to use the means to co-create a future or product that they can offer to customers.

Creative Friday (CR8IVE FRIDAY)

Creatives in Sekondi-Takoradi come together to learn, create, and network at the Creative Friday event. It is an initiative that creates a platform where creatives meet to discuss challenges and how to overcome them, as well as successes and how to expand them. They also get the opportunity to network, getting to know the projects of the other and collaborating on future projects. This gathering is part of a monthly initiative by the Social Entrepreneurship Hub - Ghana, aimed at providing a platform for creatives to connect and enhance their skills.
