Stakeholder Engagement

In order to cultivate strong relationships and partnerships between the enterprise support organisations within the Western Regional entrepreneurial ecosystem, we organise regular stakeholder engagement seminars. These are beneficial in sharing ideas and resources to aid entrepreneurial growth and development in the region. The first seminar was organised in partnership with the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industries (Sekondi-Takoradi). Attendees included representatives from hubs, AGI, and ESO associations.

Tax Administration

To ensure that businesses have a better understanding of taxation, the hub in collaboration with the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and industries and the Ghana Revenue Authority organised a tax education workshop for business in the western region. This assisted the businesses to have first hand information of their obligations and some of the reliefs that they can take advantage of

Access to finance forum with GIZ

In partnership with GIZ and other hubs in the region, we organised an access to finance forum for businesses within the region. As a panelist on the program, we exposed businesses to some of the steps they need to take to ensure that they are viable for funding. Pitch events were organised and one of the businesses under incubation won a price.

Green Economy with A Rocha

In collaboration with the Business in Environmental Stewardship Network (BESNet) of A Rocha Ghana we organised a workshop in Takoradi for private companies to orient them about the need to adopt green business approaches in their daily activities. There was also a presentation from an expert from the SNV Green. It is our conviction that engaging businesses on their defined roles in a green economy, especially in ensuring environmental sustainability, is crucial for business efficiency and effectiveness.
