National Acceleration Program with Ghana Tech Lab (GTL)

Project Overview

Base Program
The Social Entrepreneurship Hub, acting as the implementor of the Ghana Tech Lab Base Program, successfully trained 50 young participants in foundational digital and entrepreneurial skills. The purpose of this program was to empower youth with practical, job-ready competencies tailored to Ghana’s evolving tech sector, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and industry demands. Participants underwent intensive training in areas such as web development, digital media, and UI/UX design, combined with essential soft skills for workplace success. Promising participants were allowed to enroll in the GTL Incubation Program.

Incubation Program
Through four distinct cohorts, the Social Entrepreneurship Hub guided 70 aspiring entrepreneurs through the Incubation Program. This initiative was designed to transform promising ideas into viable startups by providing tailored business development support, mentorship from industry experts, and structured training in business model development. Participants engaged in activities such as mentorships, pitch sessions, and networking events, all aimed at validating their business concepts and further enhancing the product to market readiness

Incubation Program
In the Acceleration Program, 90 individuals benefited from an intensive growth-focused curriculum delivered by the Social Entrepreneurship Hub. The primary objective was to scale high-potential startups, making them investment-ready and equipping founders with the strategic tools and networks necessary for rapid expansion. Participants received tailored business development support, expert advisory services, and mentorship from seasoned industry leaders. The program placed a special emphasis on supporting women-led and tech-driven businesses. Key features included advanced investment readiness training, access to investor networks, and participation in high-profile pitch events, culminating in opportunities for funding and strategic partnerships.

Impact Summary

The Social Entrepreneurship Hub, in partnership with Ghana Tech Lab, trained and supported over 160 youth and entrepreneurs, driving innovation, job creation, and growth in Ghana’s tech ecosystem.
